Just to point out: Interview with John Gregory on The Unit.

course, we can take account that is unity, but the fact remains that someone who writes for Dylan Dog (not exactly the last scrap of Italian comic), however, prefers abroad.

Proxies That Work At School

Survey IRES at work.

As part of my research work in the world of comics and illustration, I came across this news site afNews:

Are you a professional comic? Then read on!

The news of 10.01.2010, a scant three months ago, and refers to a survey of IRES (Institute for Social and Economic Research, a "rib" of the CGIL) on working conditions.

So, if you work in comics and / or illustration, an area virtually unknown to the legislator, please fill out the questionnaire indicated below, and who knows, one item at a time, the artistic design is somehow not considered.

Ah, the questionnaire also more direct utility for you: put a flea in his ear about how many things you have to have a job to do this in a serious manner and without legal concerns.

Good writing!

So says this song.

I found it by accident, jumping from weblog to weblog, in this post, which also contains some 'information on the singer-songwriter, Lyle Lovett today that really put me in a good mood.

Here is the text to make a karaoke Antarctic

I do not go for fancy cars For diamond rings

Or movie stars I go for penguins Oh Lord
I go for penguins Throw your money

out the door
We'll just sit around And watch it snow

I go for penguins Oh Lord I go for penguins Penguins are so sensitive

Free Welcoming Letters For Church Guests

of thumos

on DeviantART is a practice called " Art Trade. "

how it works: I make a drawing of you and you going to do one for me, and then publish them both.
simple and nice idea! ^ __ ^

Michael has made it one with the young Maria Vittoria (Victory for friends), 18, of Catania. Says of himself: "I want to live and breathe art full of art."

His page on DeviantART is this, and the quality of his work needs no comments except the typical "but if it is so good now, 10 years combine what?" ^ __ ^

And here, published here by permission of Victoria, illustration of our stars of thumos!

Here is the link to the illustration on DeviantART: Visit the page and, if you are already registered, please leave a comment! ^ __ ^

Ah, yes: I hope to soon have other things to thumos show, a person who has already appeared in these parts, but never as a cartoonist.

Since there is a little 'to swell in the world of politics and information, here is an exercise that you could understand how Mental Defense Techniques I stated some time ago practical use mica recently.

The exercise is to take the statements of any newspaper and / or political figure and try to see how many times they use these techniques to also groped to get out of embarrassment (especially) when there are no excuses.

Buy a newspaper, any one, maybe two "opposite sides", and good hunting.

For Real Tough ™ among you, there is the advanced level, or the same techniques (more or less) described in a less playful but more detailed and precise than my article, here:

Stories: The Avion Travel

AVION TRAVEL

Biography

The formation of the first group of Caserta in 1980. After a decidedly rock debut, and a passage through the pop in the second half of the eighties (the band won the rock section of the Sanremo Festival 1987), the Little Orchestra arrives in style Avion Travel "with the album" Bellosguardo "published in 1992. This record, for its specificity and its concentrated beauty, is in fact the musical manifesto of the Little Orchestra and marks the beginning of the musical adventure of the six musicians. Adventure that the group shares with new travel companions such as Lilli Greek, (former artistic collaborator of Paolo Conte, Francesco De Gregori, Antonello Venditti and Gianni Morandi) teacher of creative engagement that supports and encourages the group is confronted with neighboring territories of the show as film and the show is to enhance the attitudes concert.

1993 marks, after meeting with Caterina Caselli and the contract with the Sugar, the album "Opplà" a decisive issue in the refined musical mosaic of Avion Travel, which takes a great critical acclaim. In October of 1995 released the album "Finally Flowers" proves that the natural conclusion of a triptych Music (along with "Bellosguardo" and "Opplà). The album devotes an artistic reality of the Little Orchestra and is described by critics as "59 minutes of magic sound."

The need to move creatively leads them to explore new areas of expression: thus "The war seen from the moon", operate in a musical note in which he was involved Fabrizio Bentivoglio, who show a great companion for work and travel . "The war seen from the moon" is represented in 1996 and is carried in the following years, with great success in all the major Italian theaters.
summer of '97, Avion Travel on tour in Italy and abroad, especially in France, Portugal, Luxembourg, Germany where the band now has many admirers of Caserta. This thick concerts (more than 200 concerts in two years) finally gives birth to their highly anticipated debut album 'live': "I live songs."

the Sanremo Festival in 1998, the Little Orchestra presents in the "Big" the song "Sleep and Dreams", a song that earned the prestigious Avion Travel the Critics' Award and Jury Quality (chaired by British composer Michael Nyman ) as the best music and best arrangement.
In January 1999 he released the album "Cyrano" signed by the producer Arto Lindsay, New York-Brazilian genius with the active collaboration of David Byrne, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Caetano Veloso and Marisa Monte.
And with the album "Cyrano" who, after touring the major opera houses and Italian piazzas, La Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel lands in Europe and has performed with many concerts in theaters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Spain .

The Avion Travel occur in 2000 at the 50th edition of the Sanremo Festival and won the event with the song "Feelings" won the "Special Prize of the Jury of the Critics and Quality" categories "Best Music" and "Best Arrangement". Follows a triumphant victory Sanremo Italian tour and a European tour that touches the main cities in Spain, Germany and France.
In December 2000, released the album "Love Stories", a tribute to the Italian song, and more generally the evergreen music of the sixties. The selection of songs, made from a large number of songs, is done with the recognition by Avion Travel to go in search of meaningful songs from musical point of view and allowing the group to express their style.
Presented with a showcase in Paris, released in France in June 2001, "Selection from 1990 to 2000" an album that covers the last ten years of artistic Avion Travel.

On April 4, 2003 released the new album since the Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel, which is titled "Just moved to other basins", a collaboration of the band with producer Pasquale Minieri (who has signed in recent years working with various artists including Lucio Battisti, Claudio Baglioni and Vinicio Capossela). The album, which marks a further milestone in musical Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel, contains for the first time women's voices: Peppe Servillo duet with Elisa and Caterina Caselli.
"Little Torment, one of the tracks on the album, is also the theme song from the soundtrack of the film by Mimmo Calopresti" The Happiness does not cost anything "that features Frank Blacks and is in cinemas by the end of January 2003. In the film, Peppe Servillo has also worked as an actor.

grows in the meantime, interest in the music of Avion Travel abroad, such as to lead them to make a "Best of" for the international market. The album "As I love you", published in France in 2004 (published in 2005 is also in Belgium and Holland with the title "Select") is a musical journey through the past ten years the group's musical career. The journey takes them across the Atlantic, the Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, as well as Some well-known clubs, including Joe's Pub in New York, during the spring of 2005.
The need to explore new musical horizons leads the company to very different projects: Peppe Servillo Aires Tango is dedicated to the tour, Ferruccio Spinetti began its pilot project with Petra Magoni, Fausto Mesolella part in the tour guitarist Michael Ascolese for the project Vagabond Guitars, Mario Tronco and Peppe D'Argenzio join the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio.
experiences and influences absorbed in these years of planning "parallel" push the group to return to study after three years, with a major new challenge: an album of songs by Elvis, performed by their themselves and registered under the artistic direction of Paul himself Conte, who also wrote a song especially for this album ("The Judgement of Paris") and played a verse of "Elixir," with Gianna Nannini.
On January 26, 2007 the album "Danson Metropoli - Songs of Paolo Conte." The album includes eleven of the major successes of the master craftsman and marks the debut of the new formation of Avion Travel, which turns into a small orchestra quartet: Peppe Servillo vocals, Fausto Mesolella on guitar, drums and Mimì Ciaramella Vittorio the Remin low.
With the subsequent tour, "Danson Metropoli - Songs of Paul Conte, "produced by Music Thing, featuring songs from the new album further enhanced by the presence of strings, keyboards and percussion, Avion Travel tread the most important stages of Italy, including the Auditorium-Parco della Musica in Rome and the Teatro Strehler in Milan.
In May 2009, at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi Avion Travel perform a special concert for the Magic Man, liked to describe as Federico Fellini Nino Rota, an evening with a multimedia theater song Avion Travel, music conducted by Maestro Camerata Ducale Marcello Rota and the visual art of Joseph Boys, directed by Renzo Martinelli. A powerful and exciting concert, a new show, funny, where the music of Amarcord, The Godfather, Il Gattopardo, La Dolce Vita and 8 ½ are the soundtrack of a film entirely new to the voice of Avion Travel and animated videopaintings Joseph Boys. In this great event follows, 16 October 2009 the release of Nino Rota, the Magic Man, "produced by Fausto Mesolella, a surprising and elegant album contains 13 tracks of the famous composer revisited in the unmistakable style Avion Travel, accompanied by a DVD with an excerpt of the concert to the Arcimboldi.

What Is The Best Epilator

cartoonist? No pension. Oh yeah?

A cartoonist has the right to retire?
If so, how?

The argument is really important, so 'nuff said. My

know the credentials: a degree in Economics, working in the insurance sector, particularly for energy and security for individuals and small businesses, I have a lot of cartoonists, friends, my future wife, Manuela, is a former -a cartoonist (you will see in the future) and a freelance illustrator. These friends and Manuela

would like to know if one day you will never have a pension, and initial investigations have found that it is a quagmire.

had in mind that I have done in more than one five years of frequent visits of professionals: Comics are a category in serious disadvantage in terms of bargaining power.

More and more as a number: dozens, perhaps hundreds, of new authors come from the schools of comics each year.
Many of them are also good, a few of them have a clear idea of \u200b\u200bwhat it means to go it alone. Almost nobody has a legal education, security and economics in general, not even basic, and it is normal and understandable: the real problem is that, working basically separated, do not know, often, to refer to those who have reliable information on these topics .

The Italian publishers are few and small (Bonelli is a unique case, genus and species is in itself), and, on average, are not prepared much in security matters.

And this even before you count the 'allergy' that seem to prove the contracts in writing, thinking, perhaps rightly, perhaps wrongly, to have greater bargaining power on the author.

The trend of recent years, the basic law of demand (of comics, waning) and supply (of designers, high) to pay less and less.
Not to mention, because it is not the topic that interests me now, the long list of cases of partial payments arrived, late, or never arrived.

addition to a much revenue per hour of work modest, which makes him certainly want to pay a lawyer or an accountant to hunt for solutions, the cartoonist also suffers from a problem that is fundamental to determining whether there will be a pension or not: does not know what it is and not knows what it does.

The cartoonist is a craftsman?
The cartoonist is a freelancer?

The cartoonist sells copyright?
The cartoonist sells finished products?

a color, which makes an intermediate part of the work needed between the idea and the press, has a job classified as "intellectual property"?

The issue is not a futile cataloging an entomologist, but creates differences damn concrete in the rights and obligations that the cartoonist has with the IRS, the Social Security and, of course, the editor.

we add also the thorny matter that, in the absence of a written contract, often tend to classify jobs as Co.Co.O., even when the work of the cartoonist is, well, a real job, full time , which requires specific training, not unlike the work of a writer or painter.

add that the Italian legislation on copyright is horribly old and inadequate, and that all collections of laws (not just on copyright) are online are incomplete, not updated, and all unofficial.
The best are updated by companies specialized private, for which you have to pay for updates.

Start a new great mission: to try to figure it out!

In the next episode: What is a board and who is entitled to it?

Letter Request For Disconnection

My struggle against the infamous Camilla

This is a coming-out.

No, I'm not gay, as in "I admit it is hard." I

a turtle's stomach. But
turned the wrong way.

In the picture: one that does not look like me at all.
Also: I have already said they're not gay? ^ _ ^;

So, I'm a bit 'of panzetta. No
a fat, my BMI is just over 24, according to the scale of Wii Fit.
But I decided to run for cover before it's too late, with a little 'physical activity and making the case not to cram too much.

Above, a graphic designer that is very "science"
and gives credibility to my speech.

My panzetta has a name: Camilla .
Why is the obvious name for a turtle surreal for those who grew up in the sound of cartoons and was born just before the 80s (and the two things, tragicomic are almost synonymous.)

Left: Camilla, the original.

the way, the volumes of Fantazoo, with all their crazy, wonderful humor, are published by Renoir Comics. I strongly recommend them to you, without reservation, even if you've never seen the TV series: they are beautiful, brilliant, hilarious.

follow updates: I will win or will win the infamous Camilla?
Luckily, I have a companion of battles. You already know who is .
